I am surely considered a local now, having
lived in Plockton for 50-odd years. But I still don't have a highland accent! In a previous life, I was a
physical education teacher, travelling around to the many small schools
in the region.
I love B&B and have done it for many
years, until 2004 with my late husband Dolan, who WAS a Plocktonian
through and through.
I love meeting new
guests and even more re-meeting old friends who have stayed here
before, perhaps recently, perhaps years or even decades ago. Ruah and I
realised this particularly in 2010 when I didn't take guests, but now
with guests here and our home buzzing, it's great!
This is me near the front gate with my
previous dog, Yarrow,
who died in 2007. I have kept his own page, as he was a real favourite
with everyone.
I now have Ruah,
a gorgeous spaniel. She has her own
page too, though she now has to share it with my 'new' cat Amber!
