How to Get
Here
By car coming North: Follow the
A87 from Invergarry. After Dornie (the Castle) and Auchtertyre,
branch off past Balmacara Hotel. Follow this often single
track road for 4 miles, passing the village of Duirinish.
By car coming South: Follow the
A890 from Achnasheen or the A896 from Kinlochewe to Strathcarron.
Continue on the A890 past Attadale and Stromeferry. Branch
right to Achmore and Plockton (10 km).
By car from Kyle: Just follow
the Plockton signs!
If driving, when you arrive at the bridge over the railway,
turn right and drive down to the Village and Harbour Street.
Follow the bay around to the left, turn into Cooper Street
at the Village Hall, and at the end of that road there is
a sharp turn left/right up into the driveway.
Look ahead to see my sign at the gate.
By train: the Highland Line from
Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Plockton is the stop between
Stromeferry and Duirinish. I shall meet you at the station,
if you let me know when you are arriving. (It is c. 1 mile
from the station to Heron's Flight) For more details: The
