This is Daniel, pictured during a walk to the TV mast that can be seen from my house, with village in the background.
I am surely considered a local now, having lived in Plockton for over 50 years. But I still don't have a highland accent! (I was born and bred in Bathgate in central Scotland)
I offered and loved B&B for many years, until 2004 with my late husband Dolan, who WAS a Plocktonian through and through. However, time and tide wait for no (wo)man and I can no longer manage the hard work of B&B. However, Heron's Flight is still very much my home and I enjoy welcoming friends here.
Duncan is my canine companion. He has his own page !
My daughter Moira, her husband Colin, and their family (Sam, Catriona, Sean and Daniel and a menagerie of animals) live in Edinburgh. As regular readers of my newsletter know, they visit Plockton as much as possible, especially in summer, when the appeal and freedom of village life and lots of time on the water is pretty special.
